the office market in Paris region ?

Colliers International France Studies & Research department offers us in this report its analysis of the tertiary market after lockdown. To remenber on the market trends in the second half of 2020 :

- The decline in real estate transactions is confirmed: - 40%
of take-up in second half 2020
- Depending on the geographic sectors, the impact of lockdown is seen in different ways : Paris vs Peripheries
- Market inertia allows a slight increase in rents in the 2nd quarter
- La Défense is doing well thanks to a mega-deal made just before lockdown
- The market is moving towards a rebalancing of landlord-user relations, for the benefit of tenants
- With 5.5%, vacancies in the Ile-de-France region​ saw a slight increase in the 2nd quarter
- The wait-and-see policy is for the moment the watchword of companies : uncertain health context, dismal economic context and changes in working methods
- A postponement of 2 to 4 months for certain offers under construction, initially planned for the end of 2020 / beginning of 2021
